Compact Size – Full Size Features

The ShopPro Benchtop Router Table is a compact version of our full-size router table. Packed with the same capabilities as full-size tables in a compact portable size. This table can be used with all accessories and router lifts that are available for the full-size version. A perfect solution for the exacting customer that wants a quality capable product but has limited space available.

Heavy Duty Table

The table is constructed from 1” MDF, fully edge banded, and with a full balanced double sided covering of high pressure laminate meeting AWI premium grade standards. The laminate has an eggshell finish for a super slick non gloss surface.  The MDF core is the best material for sound adsorption and vibration reduction. Miter slot accepts miter gauge retaining disc common on many miter gauges. Anodized miter slot track is heavy duty is actually two and one half times as heavy as the leading manufacturers model.

Quality Router Plate

Router plate is constructed from 3/8” full high pressure phenolic, not plastic like so many other plates. The plate has a same 10 point leveling system to insure precision leveling at every point of the plate, not just 4 points like other plates. This 10 point leveling system is exactly the same as used on our full size router tables and the highest quality industrial router lifts from us and other manufacturers. The plate is pre drilled to accept many of the most popular routers on market. All others can be easily adapted. Plate is etched with left and right ruler marks to assist with router table fence squaring.  Plate includes starting pin and 3 locking insert rings, one of which can be used with standard Porter Cable style insert rings. Other size insert rings are optionally available.

Router Plate Opening

The ShopPro benchtop router table does not just simply have a hole cut in it to accept a plate. The opening is precisely matched to accept all ShopPro plates along with router plates and router lifts from other manufacturers. The opening is also matched to fully function with ShopPro’s 10 point leveling system along with the 10-point leveling system on other plates and router lifts from Incra and Jessem. It will also accept many other manufacturers lifts and plates that do not have the 10-point leveling system.

Heavy Duty Router Fence

No shortcuts. That’s was our goal for the router fence for our benchtop router table. Just like the fence on a table saw, the fence quality will be a major factor in determining the quality of a router table. The ShopPro fence is the heaviest constructed router table fence constructed from anodized aircraft grade aluminum. The aluminum fence extrusion is actually 72% heavier than the competitors leading seller. Independent fence boards are laminate covered and fully edge banded. Fences included two position jointing feature by use of two aluminum spacer bars to allow 1/32” and 1/16” offsets. High fence lockdown knobs allow access to and fence adjustments from the front of the table. No need to have to go behind the table to do fence adjustments. Also includes bit guard and dust collection port.

Steel Stand

Heavy gauge stamped steel stand with powder coated finish designed for rugged use and to give years of service. Stand has 4 rubber vibration dampening adjustable pads. The stand is pre-drilled to accept router switches from ShopPro, Jessem, Kreg, and many others.
